A day full of energy …

When you are walking through the production halls of KWB you first experience the assembly of innovative biomass heating systems. While you are looking over the employee’s shoulder, you will learn everything about wood and biomass heating systems. Finally, you walk through the largest energy show garden of alternative fuels in Europe.

After the about two hours lasting visit of the company KWB an ambassadress of the region accompanies you to Feldbach, where you will have lunch. There your body gets an input of energy in the form of a seasonal three-course menu. Accompanied by stories about the Styrian Vulkanland, you will continue the trip through the region in the afternoon.

After lunch, you follow the energy road to the energy resting area in Edelsbach. Away from all the main roads there is Franz Gsellmann’s Weltmaschine. Aeroplane engine, head of a cask, circular knitting machine, mixer, electric motor, dryer hood, hulahoop, decorative cup of an automobile, christmas tree ball, marine propeller, blower, holy water basin, oxygen flask, hay wagon, electricity counter, cross of Saint Andreas and many items more are elements of the Weltmaschine.

At the end of the day you enjoy a traditional Styrian snack and a glass of homemade beer in a local tavern close to the city Gleisdorf.
