Here in the middle of the village square of Markt Hartmannsdorf starts the autumn journey along the gentle vine hills with a poem. Along the B66, the “culinary route 66” we see the imposing Riegersburg and line Finks Delikatessen, Fromagerie Riegersburg, chocolate manufactory Zotter, champagne manufactory Meister.
Amazed by the colorfulness of autumn, our conversations lead to the soulful hilly landscape and stories about their inhabitants. At the foot of Schloss Kornberg we follow the signpost to Auersbach. At the organic brewing company Lava Bräu we taste Rossa, Luna and Brisky. Only two kilometers further on the hill, an oversized metal ham points us into the Vulcano-ham sky.
At the exit of the Münzer chapel with the autumn colored vineyard in view, the drive goes past the most colorful church tower in the world, Feldbach between the same mountains to Bad Gleichenberg. We keep left and along the ridge we see the vineyards of Kapfenstein, St. Anna, Frutten and Tieschen. At the Bike hotel Schischek we spend the nights.
The sunny morning leads to Sicheldorf, at the last house before the border to Slovenia family Majczan awaits us. Our nose follows the roasting aromas in the pumpkin seed oil press, also there is an oil cow and of course fresh pumpkin seed oil. The ride leads via Radenska to Gornja Radgona to sparkling wine, over the Friendship Bridge over the river Mur, past the revitalized city wall of Bad Radkersburg we reach the beetle bean queen. To end the culinary highlight day along the wine roads we enjoy the evening sun between the wine lines in Klöch at Gustoplatzl.
To use the last day we start early in the morning to the next target, the Bulldogwirt. Here today the well-known autumn flea market with countless exhibitors takes place. Everything it takes, from birth to old age, often from nostalgic times, which was perhaps not as pleasant as often shown, is offered in a haggard way. And – there are rows of wines that lead to the sky mountain of Straden, a magnificent mushroom soup with buckwheat mush and chestnuts and storm (wine from this years harvest).

[252,508
255,257,507,223,224,511,259,258
