Every Thursday we set out for an easy circuit hike with a water tasting.

The region Thermen- and Vulkanland Steiermark has been shaped by volcanism interacting with water. Austria’s south-east is known for numerous springs supplying mineral water as well as healing waters.

As ambassadors of the region we invite you to discover our immediate surroundings together on foot. The gentle rolling hills over insights into the past. We follow along on the trails of the volcanoes. Our tales focus on regional legends, geology as well as researched facts about this Styrian area. Coming back from our hike a regional water tasting awaits. On its way through the different layers of soil and volcanic rocks water dissolves minerals that can still be smelled and tasted in the bottled versions of mineral water.

It is easily possible to combine the hike with a guided tour at Vulcano Ham or at Castle Kornberg.
