Slow food meets high touch – Klasse statt Masse im Steirischen Vulkan- und Thermenland. Unter diesem Motto stand das 3. Treffen des Alumni Netzwerk Tourismus, das dieses Mal von Studierenden der FH JOANNEUM Bad Gleichenberg organisiert wurde.
Am Samstag standen die Schokoladenmanufaktur Zotter, das Genusshotel Riegersburg, die Therme Loipersdorf und das Weingut Farnleitner in Kapfenstein am Programm. Tags darauf besichtigten wir das life medicine RESORT Bad Gleichenberg. Im Anschluss daran ging es mit der Vulkanland Tour „Schinken & Käse“ kulinarisch weiter.
Wir waren eine kleine aber feine Runde bestehend aus Tourismus-Alumnis aus ganz Österreich und genossen den Erfahrungsaustausch und das Wiedersehen in Bad Gleichenberg. Weiter geht’s mit dem vierten Alumni Netzwerk Treffen, das voraussichtlich im Frühjahr 2011 in Wien bei den Kollegen der FHWien stattfinden wird.
Slow food meets high touch – quality not quantity in the Styrian volcanic region and Thermenland Styria. This was the motto of the 3rd meeting of the alumni tourism network.
On Saturday we visited the chocolate company Zotter, the Genusshotel Riegersburg , the spa in Loipersdorf and the winery Farnleitner in Kapfenstein. The next day we started our tour in Bad Gleichenbert with the life medicine RESORT. After that we finished our trip through the Vulkanland with a culinary „ham and cheese“ tour.
We were a small but nice group consisting of tourism alumni from all over Austria and enjoyed the exchange of experiences and the reunion in Bad Gleichenberg. We will continue with the fourth Alumni Network meeting which will probably take place in spring 2011 in Vienna by our colleagues of the FHWien.
